Important Update!

We are in a transitional time at The People’s Cafe, and we are operating under new management. This means reduced hours for the next couple of months. We will be open on weekends and we are keeping our commitment to hosting meetings for community groups free of charge!

Meanwhile we are making some changes to the interior and revamping our back patio to offer expanded outdoor seating. We want to thank Zemi Coffee for getting the cafe off the ground since we opened last November! We appreciate all your hard work!

Our coffee counter is now being run by Nicholas and Coco! We will be increasing to daily hours this fall. We are still committed to serving high quality coffee and food.

We offer opportunities to engage in local issues and participate in civic life. Through informal learning and exchanging ideas in workshops, meeting spaces, community dinners, discussions, and art events our communities can learn from and celebrate each other—that’s what democracy looks like!
